I'm 5 feet tall, 110 pounds, so normally when I see people saying to size up, I ignore it because I'm so small that it normally doesn't apply to me. I ordered a small, then started a return and ordered the medium, so this is the only thing that's been an exception to the rule!The small wasn't so small that it didn't fit, but it ended maybe 3 inches below my knee, and the sash was a bit too tight on its loosest setting. Overall it was cute and not super uncomfortable, but given the character's kimono ends right above her feet, I then tried the medium. Much better fit! I will have to add more velcro to the sash because now it's a little too loose on its tightest setting, but that's a very doable alteration for such a cute cosplay and at such a great price. Can't wait to wear it out!
